Windows Vista/7: See "Monitor" in the GoldWave help for information about turning on monitoring in Windows.
Windows XP/2000: Use the Windows Volume Control accessory to make sure the input you are recording is not muted.
Some sound devices disconnect or mute output to the speakers while recording to prevent echoes and feedback. Check with the sound card
manufacturer to see if that can be disabled.
If you have more than one sound device in your system, the speakers may be connected to one device and the recording input may be connected
to a different device. The input and speakers must be connected to
the same device for audio to pass through to your speakers.
External USB audio devices usually have no audio output connection and no direct connection to the computer's
speakers/headphones.
