  - DirectX plug-in does not appear on Effect | Plug-in | DirectX submenu after it is installed
  - GoldWave freezes when previewing a DirectX plug-in
    - Enable the "Alternative playback..." setting in GoldWave. Press F11 and choose the Device tab to see that setting.
    - Test the plug-in in other DirectX host software, if available.
  - Noise Reduction leaves a tinny or tinkling sound
  - An error occurs
